This past month I had my first public poetry reading, where I read for our very own LooseLeaf Magazine launch event.

I read kai (開) published last year in The Hart House Review, The First Word (which is a sonnet from my upcoming poetry-music EP), and excerpts from boke (coming out this October with wordsonpages).

It was quite a pleasant experience, having expanded my expressive reading capacity in leaps and bounds through the arduous process of EP recording.

Who knows, maybe I’ll read in front of a live audience again eventually?
